Isabel Soto b2b Jin Synth
A sound artist meets a master of hypnosis.
Day one at The Tunnel will begin deep and cerebral, before moving into harder, heavier territory.
This b2b is a balancing act between these two moods, an invitation to step into the narrative of the day.
Isabel Soto crafts a careful assemblage of functional, yet propulsive techno, guided by an instinct for flow. The Venezuelan-born, Berlin-based DJ and producer cut her teeth in Montreal’s underground scene before going on to found her own imprint, NYXII Records. Her debut EP came out on the widely revered Ostgut Ton label last year, a sophisticated expression of her penchant for sonic elegance.
Jin Synth leans into a more experimental approach, weaving broken rhythms and field recordings into layered journeys through 4x4. The London-based sound artist and DJ approaches CDJs as though they are an instrument, inviting dancers into a masterful concoction of textures and moods.
Expect all things cold, glitchy, and psychedelic, with delicately timed moments of revelation. As day one kicks into gear, step into the rhythm of their resonance.
