The Necks (live)

This is truly a dream booking for us.

With a musical legacy that began in the 80s, The Necks operate in the cosmic middle ground of avant-garde, minimalism, ambient and jazz, and embodies exactly what we want to communicate with Moon. Playing in their traditional setup of just piano, double bass, and drums, they’ll be opening the stage with an extended live performance. Their music draws from krautrock patterns and post-rock influences to craft expansive narratives with their sound - it’s sonic alchemy at its most patient and psychedelic.

Some performances at Draaimolen feel like a homecoming; this will be one of them.
