Hailing from Bermuda, Russel’s work investigates decolonization, the analog archive, and interrogates the notion of process. With a body of both digital and vinyl releases, a number of live AV performances, and special archiving projects, their range as an artist has been recognized in the book Patch & Tweak by Kim Bjorn, which explores the development and implementation of modular synthesizers. Their productions are both meditative and moving, informed by his broad extensive knowledge of music technology. We can’t wait for them to grace the Forest Rave with their live show in September!
