Whether you’ve heard Moritz von Oswald through his live trio, the Basic Channel label, his new wave bands or one of his productions, you know he never misses a beat. It is impossible to list everything this phenomenal musician has done since his start in the 80s. Moritz doesn’t DJ that much anymore, so we’re really looking forward to seeing him behind the decks this summer.
Old and new generations meet as Moritz van Oswald teams up with Fadi Mohem at Draaimolen this year. Fadi, from Berlin, is a recording engineer who is a master of both technicality and groove. Influenced by both Detroit techno and Berlin dub techno, he’s not afraid to throw in some drum n’ bass and idm. His own production series ‘Mohem’ shows that he’s not afraid to experiment and be versatile. And if there’s one thing we like at Draaimolen, it’s exactly that.
