Something magical is bound to happen on our STR/OBE stage this year as Kikelomo brings the choir – A Song For You – to create a very special live show.
You will probably know Kikelomo as a dynamic DJ, presenter and curator. Her sets of jungle, juke, electro and amapiano have moved crowds worldwide, including our crowd at Holy Pink last year during her B2B with OK Williams. In addition to her DJ prowess, she is the co-founder of Accra-based Oroko Radio, a platform that amplifies diverse voices and fosters community through music.
She will be joined by the innovative vocal ensemble A Song For You, led by Noah Slee and Dhanesh Jayaselan, who amplify the underrepresented voices in Berlin. Known for their fresh take on choral music, they blend neo-soul, R&B and gospel to create a dynamic and joyful performance that celebrates unity and diversity.
Together they create a realm that not only showcases their talents, but also promotes inclusivity and the beauty of connection. With a shared commitment to pushing boundaries and uplifting underrepresented voices, this performance at Draaimolen promises to be a beautiful and unforgettable experience.
