Rosa Pistola is Mexico City’s specialist in subversive experimental reggaeton. Originally from Colombia and focussed on noise and power electronics, she currently transcends the boundaries of Latin music. Her sets are highly erotic, intense, chaotic, loud and full of life.
Last year, she and Shannen SP released a compilation and documentary on cumbiaton, Mexico’s raw blend of cumbia and reggaeton. Now they’re doing a b2b in The Pit together.
Shannen SP played Draaimolen before and is an expert in global underground music, specifically global diasporas and Africa. Next to her A&R work for labels like Hyperdub and NTS, she is a skilled DJ. Expect kuduro, afrobeat, grime, amapiano and more.
