Mystical, legendary and entertaining are three words that best describe The Darkraver aka Steve Sweet. He’s been making waves out of his hometown of The Hague since 1992, and hasn’t stopped since. He bumped into DJ Rob and started to play Parkzicht: the birthplace of gabber, the rest is history. Modern day techno wouldn’t be the same without him behind the wheels of steel, that’s for sure. A highly skilled DJ who is not afraid to slow things down, only to bring it up to 170+ BPM again.
The Darkraver has been a big influence on a large number of artists on our line-up. Naturally, we’re really stoked he’s going to destroy the STR/OBE stage this year!
