We’re proud to announce that our Chapel at this year’s festival will be opened by Will Oirson, a long-time friend of Draaimolen.
Everything Will creates comes from a good heart and a clever intuition for new sounds in the ambient/electronica spectrum. Like Draaimolen, Will has a desire to make the visual experience as strong as the aural, which is reflected in his event Into The Universes and his label and visual outlet The Something Something, which he founded in collaboration with visual artist Rutger Paulusse. From his base in Tilburg, Will contributes to our city and beyond with this platform for gentle electronics and lush ambient.
Will’s sensitivity to connecting different senses and his strong eye for unique selections will make for a special set. We’re sure that Will is the best choice to open the day in our chapel, where experimentation and strong atmospheres will continue into the night.
