Both Voices From The Lake and Sandwell District are acts that are very close to our hearts. In their own ways, they have shaped our scene with an unparalleled devotion to their craft, bringing back the culture of deep listening on our dancefloors.
Hailing from Birmingham, Sandwell District captures the industrial, raw energy of UK techno while drawing influences from minimalism of the Berlin sound. Voices From The Lake have reinvigorated the world of ambient techno with their organic, hypnotic soundscapes, inviting you not to fight, but embrace the passage of time.
From Sandwell District’s comeback show in 2023, to Voices From The Lake performing their live show in 2024, this will mark the final chapter of their journey at The Tunnel. Donato Dozzy, Neel (Voices From The Lake), Function and Regis(Sandwell District) will collaborate behind the decks just for this performance, we have to pinch ourselves that it’s really happening.
