Kangding Ray x Lumus present Snelweg (live)

On our request, Kangding Ray is presenting a new work at Draaimolen; a live set designed in close collaboration with our friends from Lumus Instruments. Spatial design, custom-built light fixtures, and an awe-inspiring soundscape - this will be one for the books.

In the fitting words of Andrew Ryce, Kangding Ray approaches techno like a three-dimensional structure. Rooted in techno but bleeding into so many different tempos and structures, it’s all-consuming music made to elicit maximum emotional response. The scale of his sound is vast, but the details are rich and intricate. After composing the highly acclaimed soundtrack for the movie SIRĀT, which was nominated for the Golden Globes and won the Cannes Soundtrack Award, his talent is being internationally recognised beyond underground circles.

Expect music that feels like a glimpse into the future. With Lumus Instruments joining him for this project of our dreams, a spectacular audiovisual vortex awaits.
