One of the prolific Belleville Three, Kevin Saunderson is a foundational presence in the history of dance music. He brought the early, repetitive-driven techno into otherworldly territory - sounds that would later inspire the earliest iterations of dub techno. It’s spacious, with all the physicality of house music. Surusinghe ventures away from her usual domain of bass weaponry, channelling a slower, more restrained side of her sound. She was his manager for several years and this is the first time they’re bringing their partnership behind the decks.
