This year we knew we had to go further. Digging deeper into the sounds that shaped us, connecting dots between music history and personal memory. That’s when the idea surfaced to bring a band into The Pit. Not just any band. A metal band.
We are beyond proud to welcome Godflesh to Draaimolen Festival 2025. A name that carved itself into musical history with weight, distortion and intensity. Emerging from the industrial shadows of Birmingham in the late 80s, Godflesh redefined heaviness with machine-like precision and raw emotional power. Their legacy as pioneers of industrial metal extends far beyond the genre, leaving its mark on techno, noise and experimental electronics.
To have them perform live in our forest means a lot to us. It marks a new chapter in what Draaimolen can be. Something fearless. Metal at its purest, set against the trees and sky. This is going to be something else.
