Last year, Toumba brought his live show to our Chapel and completely drew us in. The textures, tension and weight of his sound felt both personal and far-reaching. So, when he told us about his new project with Big Murk, we knew right away that we were keen to host it here.
Born and raised in Jordan, Toumba blends Arabic Tarab and Shelat forms with sharp, dubstep-infused beats. His music carries stories from across the globe, intertwining heritage and innovation.
Joining him is Big Murk, a Jordanian producer and live artist with roots in grime and bass culture. His sound is fearless and textured, shaped by experimentation.
Toumba and Big Murk will present their live show for the first time in the Netherlands. This collaboration dives deep into shared histories and forward-thinking beats, merging traditional and club music into a space where the unexpected thrives.
