We’re excited to present one of our wildcard b2bs of the weekend.
Hailing from Hamburg, Helena Hauff lets intuition lead. A sorcerer of analog-powered dance music, her approach to DJing captures the old-school ethos of an ego-free, no-nonsense approach to curation. She grips the dancefloor with raw momentum, journeying through distortion, pummeling 303 basslines, and bringing percussion with precision.
Juliana Huxtable is an artist who loves playing with fire. Often working with four CDJs, she exudes a free-spirited, punk approach to DJing, allowing her to find strange affinities between an array of influences. Cutting her teeth in NYC’s underground, she blends the structures of 4×4, hyper pop, deconstructed club and free jazz where the principle of play guides her practice.
With these two it’s more witchcraft than DJing. Expect fearless euphoria behind the decks, as these two never shy away from disorientation or ecstasy. This b2b begins with a question mark and ends wherever it wants.
