For some of us, Nathan Fake was a beginning. A first encounter with the emotional force of electronic live music, showing how synthesizers and rhythm could feel raw, human and wide open.
Now, years later, we welcome him for a live set that means a great deal to us. He will play as the sun begins to fall and the sky turns pink, the moment when day softly gives way to night and the forest awakens differently.
In Nathan’s world, saturated melodies meet rough textures, moments of softness give way to bursts of energy. His music never stays in one place for long. It pulses, it stumbles and it rises.
This will be a set that reaches inward while stretching far beyond the here and now.
