The Fear Ratio is the long-running collaboration between UK legends James Ruskin and Mark Broom. Originally formed in 2011 as an outlet for their more experimental studio sessions, the project explores the outer edges of rhythm, bass and emotion.
Far removed from the driving techno they are known for, The Fear Ratio draws from IDM, ambient, glitch, hip-hop and dub. It is raw, unpredictable and deeply crafted. Earlier this year, they sent us a recording of their new live set and it left us speechless. We knew immediately at what stage it belonged.
It has been over a decade since their last performance in the Netherlands. We are super curious to learn where they’ll go with their set, but we know it is going to hit you straight in the gut.
