When preparing for the line-up release Tzusing’s latest album perfectly captures the cacophony we feel in our minds and bodies; disjointed sounds meeting in symphony, deep roars, and an unstable sense of ground beneath us. All of this can be found in Tzusing’s progressive productions. He himself calls his music a rhythmic ceremonial ritual, and we couldn’t say it better.
Drawing from his experiences living between Shanghai and Taipei, as well as his reflections on cultural and gender complexities in Chinese society, Tzusing crafts immersive soundscapes that challenge perceptions. His music is both a meditation and a dancefloor journey; intense, unsettling and utterly captivating.
